Severed comprises a series of imprints created by impressing on tissue paper silicone breasts forms, hip enhancers, butts panties, and strap on penises. To mark these accessories I used a mixture of ink and atropine, which derived from Belladonna, a poison from an herbaceous plant used in medieval times by Venetian women to dilate their pupils for cosmetic reasons. The project pays homage to the performances Anthropometries (1960) by pioneer body-artist Yves Klein. Nevertheless​, while he was using live models to paint his canvases, these abstract compositions derive from the act of painting with fake body fragments used to alter anatomies and identities. The idea is to induce a sense of ambiguity in the viewer thanks to the fact that they could not immediately recognise the origin of these shapes.
