The work investigates the concept of 'symbiosis' (a form of close dependence between two individuals who act as if they were the same person and think they cannot live without one another). 
Two naked models perform for the camera ignoring the reason they have to pose in a certain way. This oblivion mirrors what happens in real life to the subjects of a symbiotic bond. They don't realise their involvement in a toxic relationship. Furthermore, the camera's lens symbolises the gaze of the external observer who may understand what is going on, but decides to maintain the position of silent observer.
